2019 World sheep shearing championship
Representatives from 34 countries participated in the World Championship of sheep shearing held in Dorat, Limousin.
Richard Jones (mowing machine) and Aled Jones (wool sorting) from Wales won the World Cup of sheep shearing held in France from July 4th to 7th.
In team, Scotland (Gavin Mutch and Calum Shaw) wins the machine mowing while New Zealand, mistress in the shearing of sheep, wins with the pair Allan Oldfield and Tony Dobbs the mowing to the forces and with Pagan Karauria and Sheree Alabaster sorting wool.
The event taking place in Dorat in the Limousin region attracted more than 60,000 people.
Not less than 5,000 sheep were stripped in this competition.
