Rive-Sud teams win the TSR 2019 in Saint-Georges de Beauce
The women's and men's teams from the South Shore of Montreal won the regional soccer selections tournament held in Beauce.
(Soccer Québec) - The best U13 players from all 19 regions of Quebec played more than 80 games from July 22 to July 27 in the regional selection tournament held in Saint-Georges de Beauce.
At the end of the competition, the boys from the South Shore won the final 1 to 0 against Montreal while the girls, the South Shore has completed the double by winning 2 to 0 against Capitale-Nationale.
The podium was completed by Laval for girls and Lanaudière for boys.
The Soccer Québec Regional Selections Tournament is a provincial competition reserved for youth 13 and under. The players come from the various regional selection programs of the Regional Soccer Associations (ARS).
Its objectives are the detection of players for the Quebec Teams, the evaluation of young referees for each region and the promotion of soccer in the host region.
Next year, the provincial competition will be held during the Quebec Games in Laval.
