SPORTSQUÉBEC grants the 61st Finale of the Quebec Games - Summer 2027 to the City of Saint-Georges.

Montreal, January 22, 2025 - The Corporation SPORTSQUÉBEC is pleased to announce that the City of Saint-Georges has been selected to host the 61st Finale of the Jeux du Québec - Summer 2027. This will be the third time the City will have the privilege of hosting the event, having successfully organized the Jeux du Québec Finales during the winter edition of 1974 and the summer edition of 1979. 

After several months of careful analysis, the selection process concluded on January 17, following the final presentations before the selection committee. The choice was difficult, demonstrating intense and healthy competition between the two candidate areas. Following the conclusion of the process, the Corporation wishes to thank the City of Sorel-Tracy for its journey, evolving at each stage. With the municipality's development vision, SPORTSQUÉBEC acknowledges its capacity to host a Jeux du Québec Finale.
